Let's take a quick look back...
Lauren founded Clear Path in 2022 during a pivotal time in her own life, when she was seeking clarity about what she wanted her future to look like. Starting her private practice not only provided her with more time to invest in her personal development, family, and friendships, but it also allowed her to show up for her clients in a more meaningful and impactful way. Working in clinic settings, Lauren often felt that the time constraints didn’t allow her to build the deeper, more personalized connections she values. By transitioning to private practice, she is able to dedicate the time and attention each client deserves, crafting tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and fostering a more individualized, supportive therapeutic relationship.
Lauren and Kaylin’s meeting was purely by chance. Lauren had been invited to an Open House at a behavioral health clinic with the same name as another clinic in town. Upon arriving and feeling a bit confused about whether she was in the right place, Kaylin was there to answer Lauren’s questions—and they instantly hit it off. Both having experienced the isolation of solo private practice, they quickly realized how much they’d enjoy collaborating and decided to join forces, creating a shared space where they could practice together and support each other professionally.
As Clear Path continues to grow, our mission remains steadfast in helping you gain clarity around your challenges and guiding you toward a more clear path.
meet lauren
Lauren believes that the helping professions aren’t chosen, but rather, they choose you. For her, becoming a therapist was a way to make meaning of her own challenging experiences, particularly during her adolescent years. Lauren draws from both the wisdom of her lived experiences and her academic training to provide compassionate support to those navigating key life transitions—whether it’s the shift from middle school to high school, high school to college, or college to emerging adulthood and beyond. While her specialty is in working with adolescents, Lauren also works with adults, helping them navigate life transitions, personal growth, and healing. Her approach blends empathy, insight, and practical guidance to help individuals at various stages of development thrive during these pivotal moments in life.
Lauren has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which are the primary modalities she uses in her work with clients. As a yogi, she also integrates mindfulness practices into her approach, offering clients practical tools to manage stress in healthy ways. By helping individuals stay present and grounded, Lauren empowers them to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and emotional balance.
in her spare time...
Lauren enjoys expanding her personal growth through her 200-hour yoga teacher training. She’s also an amateur florist, often creating custom arrangements for friends’ events. A passionate reader, Lauren loves diving into murder mystery novels and takes great pride in solving the case before the story ends. Traveling is another of her passions, with Japan being her favorite destination due to its rich culture and delicious cuisine. Her local travel companion is her Springer Spaniel, Daisy Mae, who enjoys trips to the park with Lauren.

meet kaylin
Kaylin’s path to becoming a mental health counselor has been shaped by a lifelong passion for helping others and a desire to make a meaningful impact. She began her career as a special educator, working closely with teenagers navigating neurological disorders such as ADHD and autism. Much of her time was dedicated to supporting students labeled as behavioral risks, fostering meaningful relationships to help them build stronger connections with themselves and others. Over time, Kaylin recognized the limitations of the school system in addressing the deeper needs of her students. This realization inspired her to pursue advanced education and a career in counseling, where she could create a greater impact.
As a counselor, Kaylin continues to draw upon her background in education, working with teenagers who struggle with academic challenges and emotional regulation. Her specialized training in ADHD and emerging adolescence allows her to provide tailored support to this population. However, her dedication extends beyond adolescents to address a deeply personal and professional passion: women’s wellness and health.
Through her own experiences navigating the medical system and fertility challenges, Kaylin recognized the need for empathetic and knowledgeable therapists to support women through complex and often isolating journeys. She has pursued extensive professional development in areas such as hormonal health, infertility, misdiagnosis in women, and traumatic pregnancy loss. Kaylin is committed to creating a safe, empowering space where women can navigate the transitions and challenges of their lives, from adolescence to adulthood. Her goal is to foster understanding, build advocacy, and cultivate a sense of community for her clients.
Kaylin approaches therapy with a holistic lens, recognizing the critical connection between mind and body. She is trained in advanced modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she integrates into her practice to address the unique needs of her clients. Whether working with teenagers or adults, Kaylin strives to explore the whole person, tailoring her approach to honor the individuality of each client and empower them on their path to healing and growth.
